Configure Columns

Some KPIs matter more to you than others. This preference can change over time. Configure columns under Production, Utilization and Summary tabs within Insights.

Arrange them based on what you want to see first. Learn what each column contains and what relevant data you can glean from it.

The columns available under each tab vary based on the asset tags. Click a category to view the respective column tables.

Additional column details are added with new releases. Return periodically to stay updated.

• VisionLink Productivity currently reports partial dump events only for Load Out and Loader – Load & Haul asset tags.
• Get more complete data of dump events, see if discrepancies exist between assets performing dump events, and identify locations where partial dumps occur.
• This information is available under Source and Destination columns in Insights Production.

• Payload value measured using Caterpillar payload systems for a cycle.

• The system needs to be calibrated for this measurement to function properly.

Total Payload

• VisionLink Productivity utilizes onboard payload as the primary payload data source. If multiple values are available, the best available value will be utilized.
• For Hauler - Load and Haul and Scrapers specifically, if there is no onboard payload, the Estimated Payload entered will be utilized.
• You can enter and modify the Estimated Payload when configuring assets during site creation.

Load Time

Time taken by a loader to load one hauler for a cycle.

Travel Loaded Time

Time taken by hauler to travel from load site to the dump site while it is loaded.

• Estimated volume that can be moved by an asset from load zone to dump zone during entire load/haul operation.

• Configured during site creation in Add Assets.

Key On - Engine Off Time

Time during which the key was on but the engine was off. Excessive time attributed to Key On – Engine Off indicates time machine was shut down in the middle of a cycle.

Haul Time

Time taken by a hauler or scraper to complete a haul segment.

Load Distance

Distance traveled by a hauler in the load zone during the load segment in a cycle.

Travel Loaded Distance

Distance traveled by an asset while it is loaded.

Dump Distance

Distance traveled by an asset during a dump segment.

Travel Empty Distance

Distance traveled by an asset while it is empty.

Miscellaneous Distance

Distance traveled by an asset during a cycle that could not be classified, but machine operation was recognized.

Haul Distance

Distance traveled by a hauler or scraper during a haul segment.

Fuel Used

Fuel consumed by an asset for a particular cycle.

Load Latitude

Latitude coordinates of the load location of that cycle.

Load Longitude

Longitude coordinates of the load location of that cycle.

Dump Latitude

Latitude coordinates of the dump location of that cycle.

Dump Longitude

Longitude coordinates of the dump location of that cycle.

Material Name

Material type loaded into a hauler during a cycle by a loader.

Custom Lists

• Currently allows users the flexibility of creating up to four custom Remote Lists for data that are not captured by telematics and other devices.

• Examples include material type, operator name, etc.

• This needs manual input and is available for Loader – Load & Haul and Load Out asset tags.

Transmission Shift Count

• Total number of transmission gear shifts made by a driver.

• It helps analyze the wear and tear incurred during each cycle of Haulers - Load & Haul.

• Available for assets subscribed to Advanced Productivity.

Printer Tickets

• Generated at sites for each load event of individual trucks and will include multiple cycles. It has a unique number and acts a physical record of Load events. It helps keep track of payloads and related trucks offline at the site. They are generated for Loader – Load & Haul and Load Out asset tags.

View Sample (Click outside the image to close)

• It reports Pass Count, Cycle IDs, Payload for each Cycle and Total Payload, Truck ID, Material ID, Operator ID and the Date & Time of the ticket. At the bottom it displays the unique Ticket Number. It helps keep detailed records as well as to retrieve them when required.

Load Site

Name or ID of the load site.

Pass Count

Count of loader passes in a single hauler cycle (productive and non-productive) reported by Advanced Productivity-capable haulers.
