Utilization (Site) Methodology

There are three different methods to calculate accurate utilization values based on asset tags.

Caution:
A site’s assets may be re-configured from movement-based or machine idle-based to cumulative utilization. This occurs if the asset can no longer send messages.
• If so, those asset(s) will no longer display idle segment data on Utilization (Site) > Asset List.

Asset Tags	Utilization Methods	Definitions
Hauler – Haul & Load Scraper	Movement-based utilization	Calculated based on working state or idling state triggered by the movement stopping of the asset. These assets provide small, medium and large utilization events.
Loader – Load & Haul Load Out Support	Machine idle-based utilization	Calculated based on asset idling and working state information. These assets are able to provide small, medium and large utilization events.
Loader – Load & Haul Load Out Support	Cumulative utilization	Calculated based on total sum of idle and total run time hours of the asset. • The cumulative logic is considered when there is no asset idling and working state information for last 24 hours. • The utilization values calculated based on cumulative utilization logic does not report short, medium and large idle for those assets.
