Shift Comparison Report (PDF)

Use shift comparison reports to compare shifts over the past month or week. Unlike shift summary report that shows the daily summary, the shift comparison report is summarized shift-wise over a longer duration, i.e., weekly or monthly such that you can compare similar shifts consistency over time. It is available only for truck data, as of now.

To proceed further with shift comparison report, you must add shifts and must have at least one hauler asset with active subscription. Refer to Add Shifts for more information on assigning shifts.

If one shift is selected when scheduling the report, it shows data for that shift over the selected period. For more than one shift, it shows a comparison summary of the selected shifts over the period.

Shift comparison reports are sent two hours after the selected report generated time on the report generated day or date, whichever applies. It is generated as a .pdf document.

Delayed data from telematics ECM could be missing from the report even though it is present in the application in situations like:

  • Asset is keyed off and battery disconnect turned off prior to the telematics ECM offboarding all necessary data.

  • Cellular or GPS antennae are covered, damaged, or removed.

  • Cellular devices requiring a Service Port connection (for example, PL542 not integrated with machine wiring - utilizing power, ground and communication through the service port). During machine service, device is disconnected and not re-connected.

Caution: Service port should not be used as permanent connection point for data offboarding cellular devices.

  • Damaged or missing wiring and communications between network manager and cellular radio.

  • Reduced or eliminated cellular signal due to a machine being inside a building, near high walls, or under metal structures.

Refer to Schedule Report for steps to schedule a Shift Comparison Report.

Based on available data, the report displays the following key metrics as charts and lists:

  • Total payload for shifts

  • Effective utilization for shifts

  • Average cycle time

  • Average payload

  • Utilization by asset

  • Asset load dump load count

  • Zones load dump load count

  • Asset load dump payload

  • Zones load dump payload
